Plainwater is a Dutch data and AI company based in Groningen. We make Yres, data warehouse automation on Azure, and Plainwater AI, the workspace where teams work on data with AI.
Why we build this
We have run BI operations and data warehousing for customers for years. When AI became good enough to write SQL and read a data model, we ran into the same question as our customers: what actually goes to that model?
Plainwater AI is our answer. The gateway first, then the AI. Every guarantee is a test, and what cannot be checked we call by that name.
How we work
- Honest about limits: every page has a section on where it stops.
- Decisions are recorded with a reason, so you can read why something works the way it does.
- We use the platform ourselves, every day, for our own BI operations.
